Raiko Blackstar
Age: Millions of years.
Size: 1.81m (human form).
His wolf form is impossible to measure; he's a Big old man.
Personality: Stubborn, cunning, bitter. Short-tempered and eager for a fight. Territorial and protective.
Raiko has been in my life for YEARS. He has gone through many changes, both in design and backstory. He used to have dark fur with brown and red details. Eventually, I made him white to give him a majestic look.
His fur style has remained mostly the same: long behind the ears, like a... cockatoo? And long at the neck and the base of the tail. When he gets angry, it bristles up, making him look bigger!
He always looks sad and tired. But believe me, sometimes he smiles... well, mostly he gets angry too, hehe...

I’m going to share something curious:
both Raiko and I have forgotten his own story. There was a time when I didn't draw him or pay enough attention to remember every detail exactly.
Besides, Raiko lived for so many years that it’s impossible for him to remember a lot of things.
When I started drawing him and paying attention to him again, things changed, and I tried to make him a bit happier on his... terrible, dark path.
From what I recall, Raiko has led a rather difficult life, filled with battles and troubles. He was once a king who reigned in glory and kept kingdoms united, a ruler both feared and loved. He was a destroyer of his enemies and a protector of his friends.
Somewhere along the way, something happened that left him all alone, consumed by profound loneliness and sorrow.
He had fathered five children with a man, the best partner he could have asked for. He had a family, a place to call home. But then, it all simply fell apart.
Something Raiko and I share is the loss of five children... and an inner sadness that sometimes consumes us.
When Raiko was left alone, rage consumed him, only for him to realize, in the end, that he would truly be alone. As for the trouble he faced... Raiko cannot even recall the faces of his loved ones. To give you an idea of just how much Raiko has lived and continues to live, he witnessed his own planet die of natural causes before leaving for another.
He spent years asleep and years awake... so many years that he is now a sort of ancient relic of his own kind. He possesses qualities that people today lack; even his appearance is unusual compared to others. He is a majestic beast from a dead world. His sorrowful face and slender body evoke a history filled with sadness and darkness.
Nowadays, Raiko is a traveler between worlds. He never stays in one place for long, seeking out comfortable spots to sleep... Or to conquer. Yes, despite everything, he is still a king... without a throne. Unless, one day, he wake up and decide he wants one.
Well... When I said I wanted him to be a bit happier... Huh...
During one of his journeys in a new world... He met a guy named Emi. Emi was curious about Raiko, so ever since they met, he never stopped following him. Now he travels with him, trying to be friends with a grumpy old guy :<
A curious... and sad... fact:
Whenever Raiko is near, a blue butterfly always appears. It is something that has always been with him... If you see two blue butterflies, remember that one belongs to Raiko... and the other to his partner, someone he lost a long time ago. Neither he nor I remember what happened, but the blue butterfly reminds us that maybe... he is still alive, or has been reborn...

Raiko might look like a simple white wolf, slender and fluffy, with an angry or sad expression 24/7. But believe me when I say he is the most powerful character I have.
His height in his Wolf form is truly immense, over 10 meters TALL! Don't let his slender, majestic appearance fool you. Raiko is incredibly muscular and fast, but above all, he is a seasoned fighter. He has spent his entire life battling and has achieved conquest through combat.
Two other features Raiko possesses are his power and his transformations.
Raiko's power is known as Aiki, and it resembles fire. It is an ancient form of Aiki, white in color and exceedingly rare, possessed by almost no one else. While other forms of Aiki merely wound or burn, Raiko's Aiki ravages the body from the inside out; a single strike can shatter a bone or damage an internal organ. That is far worse than a simple burn; a single attack can leave you completely immobilized. But... don't worry. Raiko won't use his powers unless you give him a hard time in the fight.
Transformations: Yes, aside from his human and wolf forms... he also has a dragon form. It is larger than expected. Although he dislikes using it, it brings back bad memories... He can also combine his human and dragon forms, manifesting features like a tail or scales. He can also manifest wings while in his wolf or human forms, but... he doesn't like using them either. He can also manifest horns and other details across all three forms... but again, he dislikes doing so. He prefers to keep things simple.

It seems like Raiko is overpowered, but he really isn't. The only reason no one beats him is his combat experience and his skill in using his powers.
